腓利門書 1:12-14 尊重別人 「我現在打發他親自回你那裏去；他是我心上的人。 我本來有意將他留下，在我為福音所受的捆鎖中替你伺候我。 但不知道你的意思，我就不願意這樣行，叫你的善行不是出於勉強，乃是出於甘心。」 阿尼西謀雖然是奴隸身份，後來信了耶穌，成為主內弟兄，保羅看他如兒子一樣。他本來想阿尼西謀留下伺候他，但也希望先得別腓利門的同意，他十分尊重腓利門，更重要的是腓利門的決定是甘心樂意的，不是勉強的。 我們做決定時，多數是按理分析，多按理，少按情。為別人好處著想，是多按情， 又按理，這樣可以增加感情，增強關係，在溝通上和相處上都有好處。還有，這樣會使我們更加體諒和尊重別人，就算自己受虧損，也願意去行。讓我們去實踐多體諒和多尊重別人。

腓利門書 1:8-11 愛與寛恕 「我雖然靠着基督能放膽吩咐你合宜的事， 然而像我這有年紀的保羅，現在又是為基督耶穌被囚的，寧可憑着愛心求你， 就是為我在捆鎖中所生的兒子阿尼西謀求你。 他從前與你沒有益處，但如今與你我都有益處。」 以保羅在主裡的身份，經歷及忠心的事奉，可以直接吩咐腓利門怎樣去行， 怎樣去安排阿尼西謀，但他仍「寧可憑着愛心求你， 就是為我在捆鎖中所生的兒子阿尼西謀求你。」用主內的愛心向腓利門說明他的請求，阿尼西謀是奴僕的身份，腓利門是他的主人；保羅告訴腓利門，現在阿尼西謀也信了基督耶穌，以前他是奴隸，現在身份改變，同是主內的弟兄，同在福音的事工上有份。 我們在主裡同是基督的身體，無論身份以前各有不同，但在主裡是互為肢體。如保羅一樣，不要以權力與人相處，應用愛心，體諒和尊重去表達，常帶和氣，去表達意見。提醒是需要，我們同是主內的肢體，更需要互相寬恕，這樣除了見證了我們所信的是同一的主耶穌，也見證了愛神與愛人的心是與別不同的。
