Rev. Joseph Lai 黎嘉陽牧師 – Cantonese Congregation Pastor
Rev. Joseph Lai attended NEAC since April 1997 and joined NEAC as a member soon after. He served as a volunteer to establish the Cantonese family and student cell groups. He is also involved Sunday school teaching since 1998. He has been working as a full-time Cantonese Pastor in NEAC since December 2009. His responsibilities include creating and maintaining the Cantonese Community Outreach group, and the Cantonese Cell Group Ministry. Rev. Joseph Lai leads the Cantonese Community Outreach Group in organizing a variety of activities and workshops, building up the bridge between church and community. In the Cell Group Ministry, Rev. Joseph Lai is also leading the core group of leaders in the Cell Group Ministry, equipping them to shepherd the cell groups in NEAC. He cultivates current and future leaders through meetings. Rev. Joseph Lai is a graduate of the Canadian Chinese School of Theology at Ambrose Seminary. He was ordained by The Western District of The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada in June 2016.
Pastor Lydia Leung 梁苑霞傳道 – Cantonese Congregation Pastor
Lydia was born in Hong Kong and was immigrated to Canada with her family. She was graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in the surgical ward. Later, responding to God’s calling, she went to study and graduated with the Master of Arts in Intercultural Study at Prairie Graduate School. Right after that, she worked at North Edmonton Alliance Church as Cantonese pastor for 15 years. Later she worked in Asia for 4 years as a community Health nurse and family and marriage counsellor. She presently works at North Edmonton Alliance Church as Cantonese associate pastor. Her passion in ministry is to be God’s ready vessel by first personally experiencing molding by the Holy Spirit every day (through reading the Bible and prayer) and helping others to experience the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives and being disciples of Jesus Christ.
梁苑霞出生於香港，並隨家人移民到加拿大。 她畢業於沙省大學，獲得護理學士學位。 她在外科病房擔任註冊護士。在讀大學期間回應上帝的召喚，後來在 草原研究院學習跨文化研究獲得文學碩士學位。 此後，她加入本教堂作傳道，擔任粵語部青少年、成人主日學和婦女事工等服侍 15 年。 後來，她在亞洲工作了 4 年，擔任社區衛生護士，後獲得當地家庭婚姻資詢師, 擔任學校青少年輔導。從 2014 起再回到本教堂事奉。 她對事奉的熱情是要成為上帝準備好的器皿，首先要親自經歷聖靈的塑造（通過閱讀聖經和禱告），並幫助他人體驗耶穌基督福音在生活中的力量, 成為主耶穌的門徒。
Rev. Kelsey Lau 劉遠滔牧師 – English Congregation Pastor
Kelsey believes that the mission Jesus Christ gave to the Church is to make disciples of all nations. The Great Commission does not strictly apply to adults, but it also extends to everyone including children and youth. They are just as important as any other in the eyes of our loving God who made a way and welcomed all of us into His Kingdom.
Kelsey had the privilege to serve the children and the youth ever since he was a teenager. He sees how important it is for the children and the youth to hear about Jesus Christ and to make a decision to follow Him. Kelsey is most passionate about opening up more opportunities for the children and the youth to experience the love of Jesus in their lives.
Kelsey graduated from both Bible College and Seminary at Tyndale University College & Seminary. He received a B.A in Philosophy and Religious studies and a Masters of Divinity Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. After his graduation, Kelsey had answered God’s calling in his life to become the Youth/Children Pastor all the way from Montreal to Edmonton. He is married to his beloved wife Soo Jin. He enjoys playing basketball (sports in general), playing and listening to music and also spending time with family and friends.
劉傳道畢業於Tyndale University College & Seminary.之聖經學院和神學院。他獲得哲學和宗教學學士學位和道學碩士學位。畢業後，劉傳道回應神在他生命中的呼召，從滿地可來到愛民頓作青少年／兒童牧者。他與他所愛的妻子 Soo Jin 結婚。他喜歡打籃球 (一般的體育運動)，玩及聽音樂，並且還喜歡用時間來陪伴家人和朋友。
Mrs. Esther Poon 潘李歡好
Esther Poon is the Administrative Assistant at North Edmonton Alliance Church. Whenever you visit the church office, she will be the first person you’ll see. Esther has been working for North Edmonton Alliance Church since July 1996 and is thankful for this position because she can serve the church, meets new visitors and is always happy to help everyone who attends or visits the church with any administrative inquiries or questions about the church.
Esther hopes you will come visit our church and she continues to hope that though her work at the church, she can serve God and His people.
