Hi Everyone,

Sharing a devotional with you from Psalm 100:

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

David writes this psalm as song of praise. When we shout for joy to the Lord and to worship him it changes us from the inside. People have many different emotions and feelings which are all good. however, when we focus on praising God it changes us. God is the one who created us and we are his. we are created to worship God and not because God needs that but because of how it changes us on the inside. God knows that it is good for our souls to worship Him and to shout praises to the king.

Because of Jesus we can enter the throne room of grace and enter his courts. The veil was torn and we now have access to the inner courts. We need to pass through a gate in order to get to the court and we can enter the inner courts are open to us. When we praise and when we focus on the one who created us it allows us to enter into the courts to encounter Christ. This is a gift that we have because of what Jesus did on the cross, we have access to the inner courts. God wants us to experience the inner courts where we can be in intimate relationship with Him. David reminds us that God is good and that his love endures forever. God is faithful and will continue to be faithful through generations. Friend may we continue to praise God in the good and the hard so that we can enter the courts and experience the closeness of the Father.

Blessings,

Esther
