Psalms 7:14-17 NIV

“Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads. I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.”

David was anointed by God to become King. He listened to advice and repented from sins. God used him mightily. Although he went through lots of hardship, because of the rebels was trying to kill him, King David had to run for his life. He trusted in God firmly for he knew that God is righteous and powerful. The wicked people were being entangled by their evil tricks. “Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made.“

We are also going through good times and bad times. These may not be as dramatic as King David had experienced. We did go through being misunderstood, being falsely accused, being slandered. All these made us angry and agitated. We need to learn the discipline of let go and let God. We believe that our righteous God will handle them for us. God will protect us and lead us to overcome evil with good. “Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.”  (Psalms 119:165 NIV)  God gives us wisdom and power that we can live out the victorious life. People will know that God is helping us.
