Psalms 25:1-3 NIV

“In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.”

The tone of this Psalm of David seems heavy hearted, David was under great pressure. He cried out to God, for he knew that God was loving care and righteous. He lifted up his soul to God, trusted in God. He told God what his wishes and desire were. “Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.” David was willing to wait because he had his hope in God. He knew that the best time was God’s time. More importantly, God cares those who trust and obey Him, having victory over all things is for sure.

Quite often, we are under pressure, the issues with people, we are also heavy hearted. What is our choice? We choose to defense, to use our own ways to deal with it. Or do we cry out to God? Ask for wisdom, strength and methods or ways, patiently waiting for God’s leading? We need to practice patience, living out the quietness with hope, because we know and trust that “No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.”
