Sharing a devotional with you from Hebrews 2:14-18 – Jesus Relates with Us
I am just thankful that Jesus became a man. If Jesus never became a man, He would not be able to die for us and offer us forgiveness of sins. Atonement wouldn’t have been possible. Not only that, but because Jesus was fully man, He is able to relate with us in our humanly condition. Jesus was tempted in every way that we were. That’s why Jesus can help us in our temptations because He too suffered through them but overcame it. That’s why we can have confidence that Jesus not only understands but can help us through our temptations. Jesus will always give us a way out so that we don’t fall into sin. May God continue to empower us and in His strength overcome out temptations. It’s such a blessing to have a God who understands and can relate with us.
