Hi everyone,

Sharing a devotional with you from 1 Kings 15:9-24 – Hardships in our Journey

Although King Asa of Judah was faithful to God, it doesn’t mean there were no hardships during his reign. King Asa’s life was filled with hardships as he was constantly at war with Israel. This reminds us that even though we may be following the Lord wholeheartedly, it doesn’t mean He will remove all hardships from our lives. The Lord will walk with us, but there will still be many obstacles and challenges we would still need to face. May we continue to do what is right in the eyes of Jesus despite the hardships we may be needing to face. May we persevere and not give up on God and His word in our hardships. God has a good plan and purpose for us. All we need to do is trust Him as we continue to move forward. May the Lord walk with us always no matter what.

Blessings,

Kelsey
