Philippians 4:12-13 NIV
“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

We cannot control the time in need or the time with plenty, the change can happen instantly and unexpectedly. Some people may feel lost, with anxiety or annoyance. Other people may choose to stay calm, to navigate through the tough time with positive attitude.

Apostle Paul write to the church in Philippi, he appreciated their effort to support him. Paul encouraged the brothers and sisters there that he had learned to be contented whatever the circumstances, whether in need or with plenty, well fed or hungry, living in plenty or in want. He did not worry about those situations, he would live with joyful heart and continue serving the Lord. For he trusted that God would take care of him, God would give him enough strength to sail through. Paul had learned the secret. “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

May God help us, trust that God cares for us. God gives us the strength that we can live with joy, peace and stability.
