Hello Everyone.
I wanted to share a devotional from Psalm 139:7-10.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
When I see these verses it gives me so much comfort that there is nowhere I can go that is away from God’s presence. There are times where we may feel as though God is distant and this is a great reminder that God is near to us. Jesus won’t leave us hanging to do what He wants us to do but is right beside us guiding and speaking to us as we listen to Him. I wonder how many times we feel like we are on our own or that we need to push through something when Jesus is calling out to us saying that He’s right there with us guiding us and leading us. Even in the heavens He’s there, even in your lowest of lows He is there, even when things seem uncertain He is there. There is nowhere that God isn’t and we can reach out to Him and know that He hears us and sees us. When we look at the northern lights or stars in the sky or the waves crashing in the ocean, or in the sunrise or sun sets God is there. Is there anywhere that you feel as though God is not in your situation? May we look to God in those moments and remind ourselves of the truth that there is nowhere that is out of reach of God.
Blessings,
Esther
