Luke 2:14 NIV Peace on earth
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
This is the praises to God by the great company of heavenly host and the angle, “Glory to God in the highest heaven”. Our God is God of love and mercy. Because men are sinned, God has provided the solution to deal with sins. He sent Jesus to live on earth, the preparation of the great gifts of salvation. Those who are willing to repent and return can be saved. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 NIV)
Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Through Jesus people can reconcile with God. He gives people peace. God has chosen those who repented from sins to become children of God. This is the grace of God. Lives have been changes, people can enjoy God’s favor and God’s presence. People can experience the trust peace, the peace without painful toil.
