Psalms 145:17-20 NIV
“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.”
David, the psalmist, wrote this psalm of praise to praise God for His righteousness, grace and faithfulness: 1) “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. 2) He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. 3) The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.” “The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.” (Psalms 145:14 NIV)
Do you praise God for His greatness? We know very well that God is righteous and full of grace. When we cry out to God, do we trust His faithfulness? If we are genuinely trust God is mighty and faithful, we will have peace surely. When we know God’s plans are to prosper us not to harm us, we will truly trust in Him and rely on Him. Although the ways God answers our prayers may be differ from our expectation in time and in the outcome, we still accept with grateful heart. We truly believe that God’s intention is always good. No matter what we are encountering now, we need to be alert and sober, be strong and courageous, trust God with all our heart. Peace of God is always with us.
