Sharing a devotional with you from Luke 19:11-27 – Investing in God’s Kingdom
The parable of the 10 minas definitely helps us reflect on how we have been using the gifts God has given us. When the Lord has entrusted us with things, we need to use it, invest in it and work at it. So that when the Lord returns, there will be a surplus to give back to our Master. This parable urges us to use what the Master has blessed us with and make it fruitful. We are not to do nothing with it, but to invest it in God’s Kingdom. May this parable remind us that we do have a duty to fulfill. There is a reason and a purpose to why the Lord has entrusted us with His blessings. The blessings God has given us is to be used for our Master and for the Kingdom so that when the Master returns, He will be pleased and reward us according.May God continue to bless us so that we can be a blessing to others and be fruitful.
Question we can ask ourselves:
- How are we using what God has given us?
- Have we’ve been investing it into the Kingdom of God?
- What is one thing we can do to be an even better investor in the Kingdom of God?
May the Lord bless us still so that we can be a great blessing to others!
