Sharing a devotional with you from Jeremiah 40:1-6 – Walking with God
Just remembering how Jeremiah has been so faithful to God but yet lived such a very difficult life. This reminds us that walking with God does not always mean smooth sailing. There will be times when there will be hardships and challenges we will all need to face in life. Sometimes God will ask us to do something that’s extremely difficult. Just like Jeremiah, he had a few near death experiences because he was obedient to the LORD. Following God is not always easy. However, we can remember, no matter what season of life we’re in, we can rest assure that God is always walking with us. This is our hope to continue to live for the glory of God. Of course we don’t wish for hardships and challenges, but when it comes, God’s grace will carry us through. May God continue to lead us in all things. May our heart for God continue to grow in passion so that we will follow wherever the LORD leads us.
