Psalms 121:3-4 NIV
“He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
Psalm 121 is a Psalm of praise by David. Praise God for His care and protection. God can protect people from fear, God protects people’s feet from slipping. Because God is always available to help, He does not doze off, He does not neglect the needs of people. The last two verses of this Psalm is the praise of God’s mercy and grace. “The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” (Psalms 121:7-8 NIV)
We praise God often, we know the love of God. He protects us, He always concern people’s well-being. When we are under stress, God guide us to be still and rest. When we are in sorrow, God comforts us. He is always willing to walk with us that we do not be troubled by the situations around us. Knowing all these, we need to fully trust God because His love is deep and wide, also, we trust that God is sovereign and all powerful. Then we will trust and obey God wholeheartedly in all cases and follow God’s plan with confidence.
