1 John 3:9-10 NIV
“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.”
Believer of Jesus Christ has new life, the eternal life and eternal hope. the status has been change to become righteous. The Holy Spirit testifies that they are children of God, and children of God will not continue sinning. We have to learn to love God and love people. “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”” (Mark 12:29-31 NIV)

This is how to differentiate true Christians or so-call Christians or those belong to the devils, the false Christians. Genuine Christians are “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8 NIV) Otherwise, they are not Children of God. Christians experience the great love of God. Those who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, their sins are forgiven, they are children of God. They live our the love of God. “Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.” If we do not love one another, we do not belong to God, we are not children of God.
To act justly and love one another are the characteristics of genuine Christians. We have to strive to love God and love people, love brothers and sisters in Christ, to forgive and to build up one another. People will know that we have God in our life, the word of God is in us.
