Exodus 14:21-22 NIV
“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.”

The Book of Exodus gives a rather detail account on the exodus of Israelites under the leadership of Moses. The Israelites were at the sea shore, they had no way to go, but the army from Egypt were chasing after them. At that distressed moment, people complaint, they were in fear, they were confused. Moses told the people “Do not be afraid. Stand firm,” “you need only to be still.” Jehovah told Moses, “Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.” Surely, the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground. They were delivered from Egypt where they were slaves there.

God’s loving care does not change. Whenever we are facing any hardship, there will always a way out prepared for us. At times, we may think hopeless and impossible to overcome. But, stay put, God can make us go through the sea on dry ground. May God help us. “Do not be afraid. Stand firm,” “you need only to be still.” Just trust and obey our almighty God.
