Proverbs 12:1 NIV Discipline is Good
“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.”
As time goes by, we are growing to maturity. Our experience increases our knowledge. During our ups and downs in our life journey, listen to advice and love discipline are profitable in coaching us to grow and have success in our life.
Having disciplined life and good habits are life-long benefits. Those who are wise are willing to be disciplined. Only those people who care for you will spend their energy and time to disciple you, because they love you. They want you to become better and be successful. You need to learn to spend you time wisely, humble yourselves to learn and listen to advice or even criticism. Proverbs 12:1 describes “those who hates correction is stupid”. What a big contrast with “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge.” We are precious in God’s sight, God gives us wisdom and freedom. To enjoy the real freedom, we need to have disciplined life with good habits. For sure God will discipline us and help us. Let’s us be wise to enjoy the real freedom in life. “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.” (Proverbs 12:15 NIV)
