Proverbs 8: Walk with Wisdom
This passage reminds us that wisdom is so essential in our lives. We need wisdom every single day to help us navigate through life and leading us down the right path. It helps us to make the right decisions in life following the very decrees of God. So naturally, to love wisdom and to follow wisdom is a sign that we fear the LORD. To fear the LORD is to hate evil and wisdom leads us down the path of righteousness and justice.
Looking back in our lives, do we live out God’s wisdom in our lives? Do we fear God by the way we live? Are we allying ourselves with evil and foolishness so that we disregard what God wants us to do? After some time, we will begin to see the harm rejecting wisdom would inevitably bring. It brings forth death and destruction, and I’m sure many of us have already experienced that in one way or another when we were led astray by our sins. God loves us and He wants to protect us so He gave us good instructions that would lead us to life. May we be reminded that to fear the LORD is to listen to His wisdom. May we reflect upon our lives today. Are we walking in fear of the LORD or are we walking foolishly away from Him? May God convict and reveal His wisdom to us today so that we can continue to live for Him this day.
